Federal FAFSA Form: Instructional Video
The viewer below includes a playlist of 9 instructional videos that will walk you Step-by-Step through the process of preparing and submitting your student's FAFSA Form to the Department of Education. Each of the 9 videos is called a CHAPTER and is listed in the viewer's TABLE OF CONTENTS (TOC). When the chapter you're viewing ends, the viewer will automatically advance to the next chapter.
You can STOP/PAUSE the video at any time, and you can select any chapter for viewing simply by clicking on its name in the TOC. Instructions for PLAYBACK CONTROL are included below the viewer.
Playback Control
You'll notice at the bottom of the viewer is the PLAYBACK CONTROL bar. To start the video, click on the PLAY button. Once the video has begun, moving your cursor off the viewer will cause the control bar to be hidden. Placing your cursor anywhere on the video will cause the control bar to reappear. The control bar includes 4 function controls. From left to right:
- REVERSE: Fast-rewinds the video in 10-second increments
- STOP: Stops/pauses the video
- PLAY: Plays the video until STOP is selected or the video reaches the end
- FORWARD: Fast-forwards the video in 10-second increments
Beneath the PLAYBACK CONTROL bar is a timeline that indicates what portion of the video you're currently viewing. It shows how far into the video you are and how much time remains. You can drag the triangle for immediate playback anywhere on the timeline.
