WHAT IS PARENT UNIVERSITY ?
Did you know that record numbers of high school students are going to a 4-year college this fall? Sadly, 2 out of 3 WON’T graduate in 4 years. After 6 years, statistics show that nearly half of those entering a 4 year college in the fall still haven’t graduated. (They have either dropped out, or are still wandering around campus somewhere.)
In 2007, we launched our “Parent University” College Preparation Series for Parents and Students. We offer these free seminars as a full series, or individually. Click here for a printable “menu” to review and/or request these free seminars at your school.
Due to many factors including significant budget cuts in many school districts, the ongoing changes in financial aid legislation, shortage of resources, and the highly competitive climate in college admissions, parents and organizations are turning to us more than ever for additional support. Our Parent University provides the very help needed.
